BROCCOLI SLAW

I guess my babies are all grown up.  Lauren and our niece Kelle went out to LA to visit Eric, and they called and requested this recipe.  A few years ago none of them would been caught near a salad!  I usually double this recipe because we like it the second day as well, as long as the crunchies aren't added until the last minute.  So if you decide to double it, only put crunchies in the amount you think you will eat at exact sitting.  The crunchies will keep in a ziplock baggie.

Dressing:

¼ c. sugar
¼ c. oil
½ t. salt
4 TB cider vinegar
Seasoning pack from chicken flavored Top Ramen Noodles

1 bag broccoli slaw

Crunchy:

1 pkg. Ramen noodles, crunched up
1 TB sesame seeds
Small bag slivered almonds
Sunflower seeds
1 TB vegetable oil

Early in the day mix all the dressing ingredients together and stir into the bag of slaw so that it marinates well.

Stir all the crunchy ingredients together and spread on a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with Pam. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes or until toasted. Cool and mix all together just before serving.
