SAND TARTS

1 c. butter, softened
3 TB powdered sugar
1 t. vanilla
1 c. finely chopped pecans
2 c. flour
Powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream together butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Add pecans. Gradually add flour, mixing well. Take about a TB (or a little more) of dough and roll between fingers to make a log. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and shape it into a crescent moon. Bake about 15 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while warm.
