1 stick butter
1 TB garlic, crushed
3 oz. pkg cream cheese
1 pt heavy cream
1 egg yolk
Parmesan cheese, grated, about 1/3 c. or to taste
Large to extra-large shrimp, raw, peeled and deveined
Lump crabmeat, picked for remaining shells, about ½ to 1 c.
Fettucine noodles, boiled according to directions on package
In heavy pan over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté a couple minutes. Stir in cream cheese until melted. May need to lower heat, depending on cooktop. Add cream and egg yolk, stirring to be sure it doesn’t stick. Shake in cheese and continue stirring until thickened. About 5 minutes before serving add shrimp and crabmeat. (Amount of shrimp depends on the size of shrimp and how many you are serving.)
Serve over fettucine noodles.
